Romance of the Rhine and Mosel
Watch
Producer: rhowen
I can't think of a better way to enjoy a tour of Europe than a river cruise. We had our first chance to try it out in 2008. After 14 days on the Rhine and Mosel and 4 days in Lucerne, we can't wait to try another region. We started in Antwerp and ended the cruise in Basel, Switzerland. After that we spent 4 wonderful days in Lucerne. The entire experience was outstanding.

Santorini, the Greek Island
Watch
Producer: wfitzgerald
Santorini is a remarkable island, the result of an exploding volcano some 4,000 years ago destroyed the Island and the resulting tidal wave destroyed Crete and much of the Minoan civilization. Today its is a popular destination because of its amazing views of the caldera. The Blue domed churches cling to its cliffs like sapphires on a string of pearls.

http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com Ships coming back from the Antarctic, rounding South America from Santiago, Chile and preparing for new departures. A constant bustle of passengers coming and going in this little town that resembles Breckenridge, Colorado. Shopping for souvenirs, wandering around, eating, visting the Tierre Del Fuego National Park, trekking, skiing (in the winter) or even zip-lining...quite a bit to do.

http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com I never imagined the Lemaire Channel passage would be so breathtaking. All the passengers were up before the crack of dawn to witness the passage (...Oh, that's right...there is no crack of dawn. It's light for more than 23 hours a day...) Spectacular, spectacular, spectacular. And then the ever-popular penguins on Petermann Island... Watch and learn...
